Dr Charlie Teo says complaints against him send wrong message to ‘good, young, aggressive neurosurgeons’
The controversial neurosurgeon says doctors who try to emulate his success will also be vilified by 'jealous' colleagues
Neurosurgeon Dr Charlie Teo has claimed that the complaints about his work that have led to disciplinary proceedings are sending the wrong message to “good, young, aggressive neurosurgeons”.
Dr Teo made the comments in a podcast ahead of a five-day Professional Standards Committee hearing where he will respond to complaints about his management of a number of patients.
