Dr Jereth Kok says he had 2473 pages of evidence to review in three days before being suspended
The Melbourne GP says he was unaware a second complaint had been made until days before his hearing.
Dr Jereth Kok claims he had just three business days to respond to a 2473-page document before his emergency suspension, which has lasted almost six years.
The Melbourne GP is awaiting a judgement on whether 85 online posts, including one allegedly denigrating abortion doctors as “contract killers”, constituted professional misconduct.
He maintains that many posts were satirical or taken out of context.
Dr Kok has now told a review of AHPRA’s emergency powers that he initially thought his investigation related to a single post from 2017.
