Dr Mark Hobart’s appeal to High Court of Australia rejected

Dr Mark Hobart’s attempt to get the High Court of Australia to review his emergency suspension has been shot down.
The Melbourne GP has been suspended since November 2021 for issuing thousands of COVID-19 vaccine exemptions, allegedly without clinical justification.
The Supreme Court of Victoria upheld the suspension last year.
While it acknowledged the suspension had dragged, with no end date in sight, it said the time frame was partly self-inflicted as Dr Hobart “declined AHPRA’s requests to participate in an interview or provide a written response to the concerns raised in the notifications, which might have moved the investigation along”.
