The $100 million GP telehealth corporate Eucalyptus has recruited former deputy chief medical officer Dr Nick Coatsworth as a clinical governance adviser.

The company recently made headlines for prescribing compounded semaglutide amid concerns about the global shortage of Novo Nordisk’s Ozempic.

It currently runs four telehealth clinics: Juniper for women’s weight loss, Pilot for men’s health (including weight loss), Kin for contraception, and Software for acne and skincare.

Eucalpytus clinical director Dr Matthew Vickers confirmed the appointment of Dr Coatsworth, describing him as an “eminent medical professional”.
