Dr Ramya Raman wins RACGP presidential election with 55% of votes
Dr Ramya Raman has been elected the RACGP’s next president, securing more than half of votes in the three-GP race.
Dr Raman, the national vice-president and RACGP WA chair during the tenure of current president Dr Michael Wright, won 5386 votes.
Dr Anita Munoz received 3611 votes and Dr Gavin Colthart received 869.
The 9866 votes represent about 25% of RACGP members, and an uptick from 7105 votes in the last presidential election.
