For first time in 8 months: No coronavirus cases in Vic healthcare staff

The “sacrifice and commitment” of Victoria’s doctors and nurses has been marked, as the state records no active infections in healthcare workers for the first time since March.
On Sunday, Victoria’s Minister for Health Martin Foley announced it was the first day since early March that the state had no active cases among healthcare workers.
Victoria has continued to record zero active healthcare worker cases since then, notching up three ‘doughnut’ days on Tuesday 10 November.
“That is a substantial milestone,” Mr Foley told reporters on Sunday.
