A member of the group advising the government on COVID-19 vaccines has called for doctors and nurses to provide clearer communication on the benefits and risk of the AstraZeneca vaccine to reduce vaccine hesitancy. 

Immunologist Associate Professor Margie Danchin says it’s important for practitioners to frame the risks of having the vaccine against its benefits, especially for people over 50 for whom the vaccine is still recommended.
