From foster care and med school rejection to intern: Dr Taylor Glover’s story
Despite her tough childhood, Dr Glover said it was eye-opening to treat patients with 'real hardship' at Tennant Creek.
Dr Taylor Glover was 11 when her home life fell apart.
“Growing up, there was drug abuse, alcohol abuse and violence,” she says.
“When Mum and Dad divorced and sold the family home, my two brothers and I were left to fend for ourselves.
“Our parents love us. But they were not in a position to look after us.”
