Gillian 'Jill' Dempsey is believed to be the first hospital worker in Victoria to die from the virus in two years
An ED nurse died after contracting COVID-19 in what the nursing federation claims is the first fatality of a Victorian hospital worker from the virus.
Gillian ‘Jill’ Dempsey died in ICU at Melbourne’s Box Hill Hospital on Sunday afternoon, her employer Eastern Health said.
