German GPs are stripping off to their birthday suits and posting the photos on a public website in protest at a severe shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Doctors across the country, which has been badly affected by coronavirus, have rushed to share the photos of themselves on the ‘Bare Concerns’ website, with many relying on just a few well-placed props or poses to keep them from going the full Monty.

The German GPs have been inspired by French GP Dr Alain Colombié, who undressed in his practice to draw attention to inadequate support in general practice during the pandemic.

Their website says: “We treat the majority of COVID-19 sufferers very successfully on an outpatient basis.
