Govt pledges full PPE to all GPs working near a ski resort

Thousands of items of personal protective equipment (PPE) will be delivered to GPs who work around the NSW and Victorian ski fields, as holiday-making skiers descend on resorts.
This year’s official ski season kicked off 21 June in both states, with social distancing in place, group lessons barred and pre-purchasing of lift tickets mandatory.
Federal Minister for Health Greg Hunt said the government would be providing PPE to general practices in the ski fields to help protect doctors from COVID-19.
“(It’s) critical general practitioners were able to quickly and effectively respond to potential cases of COVID-19,” Mr Hunt said in a statement last week.
