Govt tells GPs to complete ‘time sink’ vaccine training

Thousands of GPs supervising the mass administration of COVID-19 vaccines are being told by the Federal Government to complete the online vaccination training described last month as a “time sink”.

Some 4700 practices have been given official approval to set up clinics, with the first cohort expected to be administering doses in the coming days.
