GP to charge unvaxxed patients extra $10 gap fee
Dr Donald Rose says his practice needs to cover the additional costs to protect staff from COVID-19
A GP will charge unvaccinated patients an extra $10 gap fee for face-to-face consults to cover PPE and cleaning costs.
Based in Tasmania, Dr Donald Rose says his practice is doing “whatever it takes” to avoid being shut down as a COVID-19 exposure site, including encouraging unvaccinated people to see a GP by telehealth or in their car.
