A GP practice accused of charging patients up to $250 for Pfizer vaccinations is being investigated by regulators.

Blessed Health Care currently has two clinics based at the epicentre of the current Sydney outbreak.

It has always insisted it has provided COVID-19 vaccines to patients for free but said it charged new patients for pre-vaccination consults because doctors needed to take their medical history and it was not a bulk-billing clinic.

Last month, Minister for Health Greg Hunt promised to “throw the book” at the clinic over its “plain bad behaviour”.
