GP denies allegations he endorsed genocide and compared pandemic orders to Nazism

GP Dr Jereth Kok has admitted writing “inappropriate” social media posts that demeaned abortion doctors, during a five-hour examination before the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
But he rejected the Medical Board of Australia’s allegations that he endorsed genocide and that his comments on homosexuality, gender-affirming care and abortion could stop patients seeking care.
“It might undermine their willingness to see me, but I’m not sure it would undermine their willingness to see other doctors,” he said.
Dr Kok, 43, had been suspended under emergency powers for five years before he took the stand on Wednesday, the third day of his hearing.
