GP identifies patient with probable monkeypox in Sydney

Health authorities are urging doctors to be alert to possible cases following unprecedented outbreaks in non-endemic countries

Update 3pm 20 May 2022: A case of monkeypox has been confirmed in a Victorian man aged in his 30s.

The state’s Deputy Chief Health Officer said the man, who recently returned from the UK, had mild symptoms and was isolating.
