GP missing after failing to return from months-long bushwalk

A much-loved GP has been reported missing three months after she set off on a 1000km walk along the southern WA coastline.
Recently retired, Dr Nathalie Casal told family she was going to walk the Bibblumun Track with “a large group” in December last year, WA Police said.
But the 71-year-old has now been reported missing by her family who has not heard from her since she set off.
Dr Casal’s niece, Lucy Tamara, described her aunt as a “fit, independent and sensible woman” who had recently retired and told family she would be back three months.
