GP rides 2200km in tribute to practice receptionist
Dr Johanna English slogged through headwinds and unsealed roads to raise nearly $20,000 for a local palliative care hospice
As GP Dr Johanna English battled “unrelenting” headwinds on a gruelling 2200km bike ride through the outback she had no trouble finding the motivation to push through.
One of 24 riders on the 30-day Gulf to Gulf ride, Dr English used the adventure to raise funds as a tribute to much-loved practice receptionist Grace Lawrence, who died in January.
