GP unmasks fake respiratory doctor who tells patient ‘so many GPs are f…ed’

A GP has helped unmask a medical supplies salesman who was masquerading as a doctor while working as a COVID-19 swab collector, questioning one woman’s medical diagnosis and telling her “so many GPs are f…ed”.
Jeremy Chatterton first met the woman on 27 June last year while working at a COVID-19 testing centre in Sydney.
The patient, a medical receptionist, later told police that during their brief encounter she had asked him what he studied to get into pathology as it was relevant to her own studies.
“While she could not recall his answer, she did recall that he said to the effect of ‘Look, I’ve had my
career in medicine – working in pathology now is me serving the community’,” NSW Health Care Complaints Commission said.
