GP who tweeted about the killing of a doctor’s son agrees to stay away from social media

A former RACGP presidential candidate who suggested in a tweet that a father may have been “goaded” into killing his toddler son has agreed to stay off social media.
Dr Julian Fidge made an undertaking to deactivate all his social media accounts until the completion of an AHPRA investigation.
He has also agreed to not share his opinions publicly on any social media platform including Facebook, blogs, in gaming environments or virtual reality, and Wikipedia.
It is not been confirmed that the AHPRA investigation relates to his social media post on X (formerly Twitter) last month.
