GPs fear shortfall of kids’ COVID-19 vaccines

This story has been updated with a response from the federal Department of Health.
GPs are calling for a rethink on the allocation of COVID-19 vaccines for 5-11-year-olds as some fear being swamped by demand next week.
More than two million children will be eligible for vaccination with Comirnaty from Monday, when the vaccine rollout for 5–11-year-olds officially kicks off.
The Federal Government says there are enough paediatric vaccines — which are one-third of the dose of the adult vaccines — in the country for every eligible child.
