GPs are calling for a rethink on the allocation of COVID-19 vaccines for 5-11-year-olds as some fear being swamped by demand next week.

More than two million children will be eligible for vaccination with Comirnaty from Monday, when the vaccine rollout for 5–11-year-olds officially kicks off.

The Federal Government says there are enough paediatric vaccines â€” which are one-third of the dose of the adult vaccines â€” in the country for every eligible child.
