GPs ‘seething with discontent’ as their patients miss out on mental health care

This is Canberra GP Dr Peter Tait, who has spent years caring for disadvantaged patients with mental illness.

He says a floundering mental health care system is leaving patients and GPs without support.

“For want of a better word, there is seething discontent about the ability of people in the deep end to access mental health services.”
