GPs send pizza as thanks to EDs ‘going through hell’

GPs have come up with a simple way to say thanks to their ED colleagues doing it tough during the pandemic, using the universal language of pizza.
Victorian GP Dr Bobby Cherian has organised a roster of GP clinics in his area to send 10 pizzas to the University Hospital Geelong ED each week to acknowledge they are “going through hell”.
“I think it just gives a good vibe to the people who are actually struggling in the hospital, because it is not an easy time there now,” Dr Cherian tells 6minutes.
“It’s actually broken a lot of people’s spirits.
