GPs should be among first to get virus vax, say Aussies

GPs and other front-line health workers have topped a list of 50 occupations Australians think should be first in line for COVID-19 vaccination, a poll shows.
Australians are most likely to think paramedics ought to be given priority access to any new vaccine, followed by aged care and disability workers, nurses, nursing assistants and GPs.
Primary school teachers and childcare workers also make the top 10 of those who should be first to be vaccinated, according to the Australian National University (ANU) survey.
Solicitors, real estate agents and gardeners were ranked lowest in the survey, carried out in mid-August.
