GPs should be rebranded 'family physicians', says RACGP presidential candidate

The term general practitioner remains poorly understood by the public, according to Dr Karen Price

GPs should officially be rebranded as ‘RACGP-accredited family physicians’ to ensure patients realise they are specialists, one of the candidates for the college’s presidency says.
