GPs will be front of the queue for COVID-19 vaccine, confirms govt
GPs will be among the first Australians to receive a coronavirus vaccine, along with other front-line health workers and quarantine hotel staff.
The National Cabinet endorsed its preliminary strategy for administering a future COVID-19 vaccine on Friday, confirming there will be no charge to anyone eligible for a Medicare card.
Its key priority is vaccinating groups with the highest risk of exposure.
They also include disability support workers and staff in aged care facilities.
