GPs working in Victorian hotel quarantine free to treat other patients

GPs working in Victoria’s quarantine hotels will be subject to daily COVID-19 testing but they will be allowed to continue seeing their regular patients under the state’s revamped quarantine regime.
On Monday, the state reopened to international arrivals who will be put in quarantine for 14 days.
However anyone working for the state’s new quarantine program will be banned from working anywhere else to reduce the risk of community transmission.
The exception will be GPs because they would be unable to maintain their income without seeing their regular patients.
