Is the failure of Medicare to cover the cost of wound dressings causing unnecessary harm to patients?

Below are a selection of the stories written by GPs and practice nurses about their experiences attempting to provide wound care when Medicare fails to fund the dressings and other consumables needed in modern medical practice.

They are taken from Australian Doctor’s survey which is being run to shed light on a long-running issue in general practice ignored by policy makers.
