Health officials track contacts of GP with COVID-19
A GP has tested positive for coronavirus after working at three different clinics in Melbourne.
Victoria’s Department of Health and Human Services said the doctor got himself tested after discovering he had been in close contact of another confirmed COVID-19 case.
“He did absolutely the right thing,” state Chief Health Officer Professor Brett Sutton told the media on Saturday.
“He got tested, isolated, and when he turned up positive, he provided the list of worksites.”
