Hiroshima at 75: Read AusDoc’s award-winning feature

Tomorrow marks the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima, which killed more than 90,000 people.
Five years ago the Australian Doctor editorial team put together an award-winning story on the medical aftermath across the hours, weeks and years that followed.
You can read it here — it’s called The Fallout.
A theme running through the story is the fear in Japan that the radiation would lead to severe genetic mutations.
