Hospital suspends registrar who said ‘some women deserve to be raped’
Eastern Health initially supported the doctor, but is now reviewing his employment following a public outcry
The emergency medicine registrar who said “some women deserve to be raped” has been suspended from work while his employer investigates.
Dr Christopher Kwan Chen Lee was handed a six-week ban by the Tasmanian Health Practitioners Tribunal last month after he admitted to posting violent and sexist comments in an online forum.
