Dr Sam Hupert started out as a GP in 1981. He is now a billionaire, but as you can guess, this fortune has not been amassed through his chosen specialty.
His journey began with a gut feeling that computers were about to transform medical practice.
This was despite, by his own admission, knowing nothing about computers.
“You could not buy an Apple Mac or an IBM PC; they were not released or invented yet,” Dr Hupert recalls.
