How GPs can provide vaccine info in 63 languages

A series of short videos created by SBS detail the vaccine rollout for dozens of communities

The AMA has applauded an SBS initiative translating COVID-19 vaccine information into more than 60 languages as a helpful tool for GPs.

The TV channel has released a series of ‘video explainers’ which provide key details about the vaccine program in 63 languages including AUSLAN, Bulgarian, Maltese and Persian.

The AMA highlighted the short videos in its latest GP Network News as a handy resource for GPs to help their patients understand the vaccine rollout.

“GPs in supporting patients to understand Australia’s COVID-19 vaccination rollout plan will be interested to know that the SBS has recently released video explainers in 63 languages, including English and AUSLAN,” the AMA said in its newsletter.
