How GPs coped with compulsory isolation

It just took one patient attending for an iron infusion to close a general practice in Sydney’s south west and send eight staff and numerous patients into isolation for a fortnight.
The two GPs, two nurses, a phlebotomist, practice manager and reception staff at Doctors @ Liverpool were confined to their homes in early July to wait out their quarantine period as the city’s latest coronavirus outbreak gathered pace.
They had been at the GP clinic on Wednesday 7 July when the woman visited.
By Friday 9 July morning, NSW Health had called the practice to alert them the patient had since tested positive for COVID-19.
