It was March 2022 when Dr Michele Blandford and three other GPs from the Keen Street Clinic in Lismore sat down for their first proper meeting after their practice was flooded.
“Patients had been trying to contact us via our Facebook page, and we did not know what to tell them,” Dr Blandford recalled at the WONCA World Conference 2023 in Sydney last month.
“We felt overwhelmed and lost. The past week of chaos had taken its toll.
