At least 460 female health staff are alleged victims of a junior doctor accused of secretly filming them in the bathrooms of three major hospitals.

Dr Ryan Cho, 28, was refused bail at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday, having been charged with multiple offences, including producing an intimate image.

He was first arrested on 10 July after a phone concealed in a mesh bag was discovered in a staff toilet at Melbourne’s Austin Hospital.

Dr Cho was initially charged with offences including stalking, but was released on bail. Police seized his two mobile phones, a laptop, several white mesh bags and removable hooks.
