‘I worked in Ukraine, but Gaza is an emergency like nothing before’: a doctor’s story

Dr Edward Chu was part of a team of Médecins Sans Frontières staff who went to Gaza in December to provide medical support following Israel’s large-scale air and ground campaign.

The number of health workers killed or injured since the conflict began in October has been significant with aid agencies, including Amnesty International, last month saying that the health worker death toll had reached more than 300.
