Dr Lindsay Sleeper, US anaesthetist, sparked a flood of responses when she shared why she would be switching to her married name
It was an opportunity too good to pass up for Dr Lindsay Sleeper, a US paediatric anaesthetist who decided to take her husband’s name rather than remain a Newton.
“I never thought I would change my name when I got married — I was the first (medical) Dr Newton in my family and I’m very proud of that,” the Michigan anaesthetist posted on Twitter.
