Inquiry launches into AHPRA’s complaints’ process
The Senate Community Affairs References Committee will look at the regulator's handling of delays, support for doctors and overseas registration
AHPRA’s operations, including support offered to doctors under investigation, will come under the microscope in a federal parliamentary inquiry to report by the end of the year.
The timeliness of investigations into notifications, including delays in assessment and decision-making, are also in the spotlight, in the Senate Community Affairs References Committee inquiry.
