Real-time continuous glucose monitoring is superior to self-monitoring of blood glucose, regardless of the insulin delivery method, a study of suboptimally controlled people with type 1 diabetes shows.

In a repeat analysis of three-year results from the trial known as COMISAIR-2, updated with an additional 29 patients, four different treatment strategies for type 1 diabetes were compared by Czech researchers.
