Anecdotal reports of ‘Ozempic babies’ are circulating among patients on social media, with women using semaglutide becoming pregnant despite also taking oral contraceptives or being told they are infertile.

While the true extent of the phenomenon is unclear, TikTok and Facebook are replete with tales of unplanned pregnancies following treatment with the GLP-1 receptor agonist.
