A British surgeon has declared GPs the 'most entitled 'workers' in Britain'.
Mr Joseph Meirion Thomas is a British surgeon who knows how to wield a knife — particularly when it comes to his GP colleagues.
A former consultant at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, he was highly respected for his contribution to soft tissue sarcoma surgery, but has since made his name in writing opinion articles, usually denigrating GPs.
His latest spray began with the declaration that NHS GPs were the “most entitled ‘workers’ in Britain”.
The source of his rage? GPs were considering limiting patient consults so they could escape sausage-machine medicine and do what they were trained to do.
