Dr Mukesh Haikerwal says his patients are again queueing up for AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccinations following mass cancellations amid the public fear and confusion surrounding their safety.

It follows the media headlines in the wake of the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation’s recommendation that those under 60 should not be offered a first dose of the vaccine because of the rates and severity of thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome in the age group.
