‘It’s not Grey’s Anatomy’: Plan to hire out unused wards for films flops

A major Sydney hospital has come under fire for offering up vacant wards for hire as film sets, with critics reminding health services, “It’s not Grey’s Anatomy”.
The NSW opposition released a tender it said was posted on a government website on 21 November offering unused wards for filming purposes.
The tender stated: “Campbelltown Hospital has vacant/unused wards that can be used for filming for TV/ads/movies and other similar such mediums.”
But the “innovative” funding idea was shut down and the tender removed from the website once the Minister for Health Brad Hazzard stepped in.
