Dr Columbine Mullins has been forced to close one of her three practices in Tasmania because of GP workforce woes.
At the start of the year, Dr Columbine Mullins’ practice on Hobart’s fringes was thriving.
She had taken it over from a corporate owner five years ago, when it was teetering on the brink of closure.
“We took it over because there was community outcry over it closing; we kept it going through COVID-19 and developed it,” she said.
But then everything changed.
