Previously healthy young patients who are dying of coronavirus are begging to be vaccinated shortly before their death, a US hospital doctor claims.

Dr Brytney Cobia has taken to social media to explain how the tragic deaths are helping her make a “lot of progress” in encouraging others to be vaccinated.

“I’m admitting young healthy people to the hospital with very serious COVID-19 infections,” the Alabama-based doctor wrote in a Facebook post that has been shared 13,000 times.

“One of the last things they do before they’re intubated is beg me for the vaccine. I hold their hand and tell them that I’m sorry, but it’s too late.”
