Job loss within couples linked to miscarriage, stillbirth

Exposure to job loss during pregnancy is associated with an increased risk for miscarriage and stillbirth, Italian and UK researchers have found.
The chance of pregnancy loss doubled after a pregnant woman or her partner lost a job, in the study using data from a survey of 40,000 UK households conducted between 2009 and 2022.
