July MBS Quick Guide —  with indexation for FY26

A handy guide to the most important MBS items for general practice

AusDoc’s MBS Quick Guide for July is now available, and includes updated rebates with indexation for the new financial year. 

Annual indexation has been applied to all the general medical service items, at a rate of 2.6%.

Rebates remain fixed for listed pathology services, for performing urine beta HCG, and Hba1c point of care testing.

The fees for veterans’ health checks are current from 1 March 2026, when these fees were updated.
