Fewer than half of metro practices still offer universal bulk-billing, including just 30% of practices in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, new figures suggest.
The numbers are from Cleanbill, a website that has collated and published GPs’ fees since 2017 — when it was originally called MindTheGap.
James Gillespie, who started the site when he was 18, said he hired contractors to call 4000 GP practices between August and December 2022.
The practices were not told the information would be published.
