Leading Aussie doctors condemn attacks on Gaza health workers following more than 300 deaths

Australian doctors, including those from Palestinian and Jewish backgrounds, have called for an Israel-Gaza ceasefire, the release of all hostages and the reconstruction of damaged hospitals amid a public health catastrophe affecting millions.
They say their statement is an expression of solidarity with healthcare workers in the region who are now risking their lives caring for patients.
International aid agencies say at least three hundred health workers, including more than a 100 doctors, have been killed since the conflict began.
The petition (see below) was been led by endocrinologist Professor Paul Komesaroff and GP Associate Professor Hadia Haikal-Mukhtar.
